I forgot to mention that I noticed that both NPM and SAM have a hotfix , which is on the same ZP files. The ReadMe file states as follows:
This HotFix addresses an issue when polling stops during the shift to the daylight saving time. This issue occurs if you are running any of the following SolarWinds products: SolarWinds NPM 10.7, NCM 7.2.X, or SAM 6.1.
So, after upgrading to NPM v10.7, I applied the hotfix JobEngine.v2.msi which is contained on the same ZIP file. Btw, I noticed the same file on the SAMv6.1 download. I ran it, but I got the message that the application was already installed, so I could only repair it or remove it. So, I canceled it, since it did not seem that the file was needed.
Anyway, those were the only issues we had. It's been almost 4 days since we upgraded both applications and I have not heard any complaints yet. That is a good sign.
