network mapped drive not showing in Win32_Logical disk

We are trying to monitor the free space on a network drive. We've able to query this via PowerShell but using the SAM dcom/wmi performance counter wizard we are unable to see the drive. This has been tried through a separate account and also with the same service account SAM is using just to cover our bases. If we map the drive under our current user we can use PoSh to pull the drive information. Is there an easy way to get this into SAM using the WMI performance counter wizard or do we truely need to use PoSh to impersonate a user and pull the logical drive statistics?
