Additional pollers are used to poll the nodes. The way mine are setup is that we have 1 primary poller which holds all the applications and thats it. Then we have several other servers which are called additional pollers. Thats where we assign the nodes to do the work from. If you only have 1 solarwinds server doing all the work then the additional pollers is not the answer. I'm sorry for the confusion I must have misunderstood something in the thread. Also during your reinstallation did you redownload the file or are you useing the same file? It could be a bad install file for all we know.
