In your screenshot, you can scrubbed the original values and super-imposed the text 'NewCust'. So, I still think it is something to do with the values you have used for custom properties. It works perfectly fine here. I have a custom property called Cust, 2 unmanaged nodes, 1 of them with Cust value OldCust and the other one with NewCust
