We used intermapper and a free application called axxence netTools. The interface was not easy to use and didn't provide in-depth details

NPM. In depth logs and alerts have given us the ability to be proactive against downtime.
3.Did you consider other options, and why did you choose SolarWinds?
Yes. We were looking at cacti but decided to go with NPM for its easy integration and use across the board.
