How are you attempting to monitor AppInsight Applications on a node? Also, how are those nodes managed in Orion? You should never manually apply AppInsight applications to nodes like you would traditional application templates. AppInsight Applications contain intelligent discovery and can be enabled/disabled via "List Resources" or through the Network Sonar Discovery Wizard. Forcibly applying AppInsight applications to a node requires additional parameters be configured properly that would otherwise be automatically pre-populated via the embedded discovery process. This manual method exists solely as a last resort when/if Discovery should fail for some unknown reason.
In the event you've manually assigned AppInsight applications to nodes is that you remove them the same way you would a traditional application template, then use the "List Resources" method to enable the monitoring of that application. Hopefully this will resolve some of the issues you've been encountering, if they were indeed manually assigned.
