- What was life like before using SolarWinds? (Include what you were using and why you decided it was time for a change)
We purchased Trigeo a few years before solar-winds purchased them. We paid around double the purchase price now for the product and maintenance. Dropping that kind of cash on an applianceconcerned us as a dell server has a limited lifespan. We were assured we would receive all product updates and would simply need to purchase new server and load the install on it when the time came.. After solarwinds purchased the company they gave us the finger and said You want to continue with LEM you must re-buy the whole product... but hey we are super swell dudes and we will give you your maintenance off the purchase price! Thanks... We should have simply been transitioned to the new product under our maintenance contract. Fantastic way to treat long term customers and it makes me want to consider solarwinds in the future...

They didn't they took my bacon doused it with lighter fluid, lit it on fire, then stomped on it with muddy boots. Are you sure you don't want this bacon any longer?

We didn't choose solarwinds our product was acquired by solarwinds.
4. How has life been since you've rolled out SolarWinds in your environment?
Stressful, We now must find a new SIEM and hopefully they will treat us a little better.
